A couple weekends ago I made lotsa bread. We believe in efficiency here in the CoMo Homestead household, so when we make bread, we make a lot of it. No one loaf at a time nonsense. Only lotsa bread.
I experimented with making five different no knead bread recipes. At the end of it we tasted and reviewed each one. More on that later.
I used my new bannetons for several of the loaves, and successfully made nice boules for the very first time. This was a major day for me. The key to using bannetons: flour. A lot of flour.
Bread is so photogenic.
