Five different no-knead breadsFive different no-knead breads
  • Five different no-knead breads

A couple weekends ago I made lotsa bread. We believe in efficiency here in the CoMo Homestead household, so when we make bread, we make a lot of it. No one loaf at a time nonsense. Only lotsa bread.

I experimented with making five different no knead bread recipes. At the end of it we tasted and reviewed each one. More on that later.

I used my new bannetons for several of the loaves, and successfully made nice boules for the very first time. This was a major day for me. The key to using bannetons: flour. A lot of flour.

Bread is so photogenic.

Yep. It freezes just fine and thaws out quickly.

These loaves look great. If you haven’t checked out the no-knead breads from my Kneadlessly Simple, I hope you’ll come to my site. Some pics and recipes are posted.

    Hi Nancy,
Thanks for the suggestion! I hadn’t heard of your book, but the reviews look good. Thanks for the tip!
