Omelettes are one of my favourite things to make for breakfast on Saturday mornings.
This particular one was perfect. Not only did I not mess it up (like a lot of the previous Saturdays), but it was 100% local (okay, minus the butter and pepper :)).
Eggs – Stanton Brothers Eggs (who I just found out are a couple of teens who started selling eggs as an FFA project. What a great story! That’s the type of story that makes you not mind spending a little bit more just so you can support a great local business. Great job, boys!)
Goat cheese – Goatsbeard Farm
Spinach – front yard homegrown!! Woop woop!
